


Mission Statement
The Urban Coalition of Appraisal Professionals (UCAP) is a non-profit appraisal organization/ school/ operating foundation, who’s exclusive purpose is to provide appraisal training, contracting opportunities, professional development skills, and right-of-way agent training to students that have an interest in a professional career in appraisal and the right-of-way industry.
UCAP’s vision includes a unique specialized multifaceted training program, “The Urban Real Estate Training Initiative”, that offers alternative real-world solutions to some of the barriers of entry in the real estate appraising and the right of way industry.

UCAP will foster diversity, equity and inclusion with partnerships with organizations to provide access to resources, contracts and opportunities, which will provide those small businesses opportunities for expansion.
Inequality isn’t just a social issue; it’s also a business issue. Companies today must act to create a world that respects everyone’s dignity and makes equal opportunities available to all.
Empowerment
UCAP will partner with local, state and government organizations to provide access to resources, contracts and opportunities which will provide those small businesses opportunities for expansion.
Create change by training new appraisers who have had barriers of entry into the appraisal profession, and empowering them by teaching them the necessary skills to become a professional appraiser such as;

Transformation
UCAP will impact change on a national level through its collaborations with larger non-profit organizations on policies, in the banking and appraisal industry. And help craft guidelines and regulations reducing issues such as Appraisal Bias and help in closing the Appraisal Gap for minority appraisers.

The Urban Coalition of Appraisal Professionals will soon offer
a variety courses that are directly or indirectly related to the
appraisal industry. We offer courses not only for the residential
appraisers, other real estate professionals, and right-of-way
agents.
